In the morning Mark de Blois of Google.com's Kenya office demonstrated Google Earth now used by 400 million people worldwide. Wow! This is a 3D spinning globe that lets you drop down to view any part of the world! He also demonstrated Health Map and MapMaker which lets everyone collectively deepen information in map format.
Before this Mark Smolinski of Google.org introduced their new 'Predict and Prevent' program and explained why they chose an infectious diseases and climate focus and what they saw as the opportunities of bringing together the climate and health communities.
